tcgmcp (the "service") is provided by Hoard. It's a free, read-only trading card game and collectibles real-time price lookup tool that can optionally route to participating sellers and marketplaces with available inventory.
What we receive
When your AI assistant invokes the service, we get the request text (the card names or decklist being priced, plus an optional game hint or variant information) and standard connection metadata like your IP address and client headers. No name or email is attached.
How we use the data
Card names, card types, buyer preferences, card variant info, and decklists are processed to serve recent pricing information. IP addresses are used for rate limiting. Requests can show up in operational logs while we debug problems; those logs are short-lived.
What we don't do
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts. Your decklists aren't stored as data about you. We don't know who you are, and the service is designed to keep it that way. We don't build buyer profiles from this data, and we don't sell or share personally identifiable information.
Affiliate links
Buy links returned by the service point to sellers or listings on public ecommerce platforms (the "marketplace", including but not limited to eBay, TCGplayer, etc) that sell the item(s). Buy links may carry Hoard's affiliate tracking code. That code tells the marketplace that the referral came from Hoard. It contains no personally identifiable information or tracking code about you. Once you click through, the marketplace's privacy policy applies.
Infrastructure
The service runs on Cloudflare and Render, which keep standard server logs under their own privacy policies. Error reports are shared with Sentry for telemetry and debugging.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date above.
